8703067 – bees collecting nectar from flower

Mountain Man Cave Honey, Jackson County Beekeepers, and The Village Green will be co-sponsoring a free event for the public to celebrate World Bee Day on Saturday, May 22^nd.  This event will be held under the Gazebo at the Cashiers Village Green from 11am-3pm.

Tying along with The Village Green’s mission of preserving and enhancing land for our community, this year’s theme is “Bee Engaged”! The event will feature hive demonstrations, various activities and games for all ages, light refreshments and LIVE MUSIC featuring Asheville Singer/Songwriter Oliver Padgett from 1pm-2:30pm. Children activities include many arts and craft and education exhibits.

During this event, COVID-19 guidelines of physical distancing and mask wearing are required. Anyone experiencing illness of any kind should stay home.
